Results.. for now

I had an incredibly hard time finding very many "before" photos that would show exactly what I needed to show. I covered up well so it just looks like I'm frumpy rather than fat. And frankly, the "after" photos don't really make me look all that trim in my opinion but maybe I'm being hard on myself... Fact of the matter is that I will never be a size 6. Ever. As M likes to say, 'get a ladder and get over it!'

First before photo is Christmas Eve 2007 and really shows off my post-baby belly (way post baby, she was a year old here). Second photo, sometime before that, just me looking frumpy. Too show off, because I don't get to brag too often and most people don't see my stomach anyway, I'm putting up two "after"shots. Me in my way-too-expensive 7 jeans and my ever flattening tummy. I'm pretty proud of it, I must say. ;)

Before:

Look at that tummy, how unflattering!

After:

BTW, I am still on WW, I just haven't gotten below 158. It's been up and down for 2 months now. My MO with weight loss is the same. Lose it and get comfy and eat again. It just can't be done. ;)

Terrific! I'm proud of you.

Now you guys need to fly back out to NYC so that we can add back some of those pounds via mass consumption of Guiness.

Um....can I have your belly?

I'm so excited for you! Keep it up!

I guess the actual hard part is the "keep it up" part. I kept my slim waist for a good two years til I gained it all back. Not that it'll happen to you.
I did have a lot of help with the fact my metabolism slowed way down after I burned my thyroid off.....dang.

Holy smokes woman! You look fabulous!

PS- I never answered your question earlier (that whole 300 unopened emails got to me). We'd be up for coming to see you!

I'll never have a tummy like that unless I get a tummy tuck (BJ said NO WAY). I've really abused my skin with the weight ups and downs and 2 babies. Oh well, I'm almost 50 and I think I'm kind of out of the bikini career league anyway.

I had a dream about you this morning before I woke up.

Lori and I were visiting you and we were in your VAST backyard. Parklike grounds, you know.. (???)

You were leading us in some craft-making projects. You were tall and pretty, wearing a fancy schmancy sweater with jewels around the neckline.

(the dream ended with the 3 of us standing around a sink, brushing our teeth)

dreams are weird.

I am so very proud of you!!! No tummy tuck and your stomach looks so flat!! When I get my tummy tuck I am going to show the doctor that picture and ask them to give me the perfect stomach like you have.

Way to go, its hard its not an easy road and you did it!!!! WAY TO GO!

You look fabulous!!! I can't get over how flat that stomach is--I'd never guess that you'd had a little baby girl in there for nine months! Congratulations--it must feel great to really see the effects of all of this hard work :)
